Welcome to AP Literature! I hope your summer is going well. Update: There have been some problems getting the term list up. It's definitely working now, but since you've lost a month of summer, I've reduced the number of terms the list contains. Sorry about this delay. On the first day of school, you'll have a 50 question test on the literary terms linked to the left. Please be familiar with each one; you should understand its definition and be able to recognize its use. The best way to prepare for this test will be to take 15 minutes two to three times a week and review a page or two of terms. You'll be pleasantly surprised about how quickly you'll master the material. I'd also suggest you pick at least one book to read from the suggested summer reading list. Finally, to take the edge off of all this, I'll provide donuts and hot chocolate on the first day of school. (Though some of you may prefer milk in the middle of August. Your choice.)
