One of the most fascinating buildings of Aegean Art is the palace of Knossos. 
Aegean Art refers to the art of the Minoan and Mycenaean people in the Aegean Sea. The Minoans lived on Crete, and the Mycenaeans lived on Mainland Greece. These were the men and women who created the myths of classic Greek mythology, and who knows, maybe they really were the heroes themselves.
