2011-2012 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Please be aware of the important upcoming dates for registration.
CURRENT JUNIORS:
Feb. 1-2: Counselors will be available for questions (no appointments)
Feb. 2: Registration begins at 3:30 p.m.
Feb. 2: Open lab from 3:30 to 5:00 in the OHS Writing Lab
Feb. 6: Registrations closes at midnight
Feb. 7-24: Junior SEOPs
CURRENT SOPHOMORES:
Feb. 27-28: Registration presentations during English classes (parents are
invited to attend)
Feb. 29 & March 1: Counselors will be available for questions (no
appointments)
March 1: Registration begins at 3:30 p.m.
March 1: Open lab from 3:30 to 5:00 in the OHS Writing Lab
March 5: Registrations closes at midnight
March 13-16: Sophomore SEOPs
CURRENT FRESHMAN:
March 21-22: Registration presentation at Lakeridge Junior High
March 26-27: Registration presentation at Canyon View Junior High
March 28: Parent Night at Orem High School at 7:30 p.m.
March 28-29: Counselors will be available for questions (no appointments)
March 29: Registration begins at 3:30 p.m.
March 29: Open lab from 3:30 to 5:00 in the OHS Writing Lab
April 2: Registrations closes at midnight
April 4-5: Freshman SEOPs at Canyon View Junior High
April 6: Freshman SEOPs at Lakeridge Junior High

OHS Bids Farewell to Mr. Cooper
After over 20 years working as a counselor at Orem High School, Mr. Craig Cooper has decided to move on to the next phase of his life and retire. Orem High wishes to thank Mr. Cooper for his years of dedicated service to the students of Orem High, and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. Mr. Cooper is and will always be a member of the Orem High family and a loyal Tiger.
Mr. Paul Kenley will be taking over for Mr. Cooper. He is excited to be here at Orem High School and to get to know all the wonderful students.

Introduction

Counseling is an integral part of education and is aimed directly on this goal. Guidance and counseling services prepare students to take increasing responsibility for their decisions and grow in their ability to understand and accept the results of their choices.
